Stories about abandoned places. Abandoned houses: mystical stories and real facts. Ryugyong Hotel, Pyongyang, North Korea

The story will be about a place shrouded in a terrible mystery that cannot be solved until now. No one can give at least some rational explanation for everything that happened. Only rumors full of mysticism. It will be about an abandoned house and about small children who dared to visit this terrible place.
That building was deserted two years ago due to inexplicable phenomena that happened to the inhabitants of this city. Without exception, everyone fell ill with an unknown disease, and doctors could not connect the symptoms with already known infections or diseases. Her symptoms were headache, nausea, weakness, fever, delirium. The inhabitants of this house ended up in the hospital with an unknown illness, but not even two days passed, as their health improved, and they were rapidly on the mend. They were discharged, but a week later they returned. Then people realized that all the troubles came from this house, although there was no evidence of this: sanitary conditions were met, and the residents themselves were not infected. Taking with them only money and documents, they left their home.
No one could explain the problem with this house, and the authorities waved their hand at it, declaring it unsuitable for habitation, but they did not demolish it - they thought that everything would calm down over time, then they would carry out repairs and hand it over as new, especially to the building of everything ten years.
At night, passers-by and residents of the house opposite noticed that a weak light was burning in the windows of an abandoned house. Everyone took it as the tricks of local homeless people and drug addicts, who simply have nowhere to hide. Once in the newspapers scandalous news thundered, which described the large radioactive background of this house. Television “came”, measured - the counters showed values \u200b\u200bin the normal range. They wrote it off as a fantasy of the youth, and then one of the local amateurs measured the level of radiation at night, when the lights were visible. What was his surprise when he saw that the radioactive background was exceeded five times! Again they came from television, they measured: everything is normal, but during measurements at night, the radiation remained high. They were surprised, of course, but no one dared to write about it, and in the news to talk too. Then there were people who tried to see what caused these lights, but no one returned. They searched - no bodies were found, and their clothes were neatly folded in one of the apartments. They did not talk about it on television and did not write in the newspapers.
That's why everyone is afraid of this place.
Vasya, Dima and Ruslan were sitting on a bench near the playground and talking:
- Something boring. Don't you? Ruslan said.
- Boring things. Vasya and Dima answered together.
- Let's go to the dungeon, shall we? BUT? Ruslan suggested.
- Are you crazy? Everyone knows that going there is not something that is impossible - life-threatening! Dima cautioned.
- But we will go there because it is impossible and because it is dangerous. Ruslan said. Or are you afraid?
- But no, I'm not afraid! Let's go tomorrow! Dima got angry.
- And you, Vasya, are you coming with us? Ruslan asked.
- Not! And do not persuade me! Vasya refused.
- Well, you are a coward in life, and we are brave! - boasted Ruslan
"Yah you!" Vasya left with these words. And Ruslan and Dima were left to sit and plan tomorrow's raid.
The next day, two friends went to meet the danger. They felt like heroes. Vasya met them at the threshold of the sinister house.
"You won't bother us!" Ruslan shouted.
"I don't want to disturb you, I'm with you." Vasya smiled.
Ruslan noticed something new in him. There was no longer that drawling voice in which Vasya used to speak: no, he was replaced by a confident and slightly mocking tone. Ruslan even got a chill down his back. But he liked the change. The new Vasya was exactly what he wanted to see him.
"Why are your eyes red?" Dima noticed.
“Pay no attention, I weathered them. - The new Vasya justified himself.
- Then let's go. Ruslan commanded.
To disappointment, the house turned out to be less mysterious than Ruslan had imagined. An ordinary abandoned house without any mystical signs or creaky doors. There are no frightening groans and whispering voices that are so beautifully presented in horror films. The frustrated heroes wanted to return, but:
- Let's go upstairs, it's interesting! Vasya suggested.
- Great idea! Let's go! Ruslan said.
Dima, silently, watched the new Vasya: there was something sinister in him, and this haunted neither him nor, as it turned out, Ruslan. Both secretly looked at his back, expecting something terrible from this "stranger".
As they climbed from floor to floor, the situation heated up more and more every second. Everyone, except for the "stranger", wanted to retreat already, just run away and forget about it like a bad dream.
Dima pulled the sleeve of his friend's jacket, with tears in his eyes, he showed him with gestures that he wanted to return, and a print of horror froze on Ruslan's pale face: he could not stop and, as if spellbound, climbed the stairs.
Dima gathered all his will into a fist and tried to quietly retreat: with small, quiet steps, he wanted to get away from all this, just to leave. But the new Vasya stopped, turned towards the fugitive, asked him: “Are you afraid?” He smiled broadly, baring his fangs.
Not remembering himself, friends ran downstairs, that there is urine. As they descended, they heard the diabolical laughter of the "stranger".
Already on the second floor, Ruslan stumbled and rolled up the stairs to the exit. He could not move from pain, but Dima's faithful friend came to the rescue. Grabbing his hand, he dragged his comrade, trying to save him. Already a meter from the door, a new and already diabolical Vasya appeared from the darkness. He grabbed Ruslan's leg with a death grip and dragged him in his direction.
The poor fellow had no strength, he could not resist. Obessilev, Dima fell into unconsciousness.
Parents came to the rescue too late. Vasya, the real one, when he did not find his friends, ran to their parents to tell them about it. Having learned about everything, not remembering themselves, they ran to this accursed house. But it was too late: when they entered, they found only clothes: there were no bodies, nor any signs of the presence of children. Careful searches yielded no results, as in the previous case.

Scary stories about houses

Abandoned houses, old factories, empty premises - all this attracts diggers and thrill-seekers so much! How many stories - exciting and creepy - we heard and read on the Internet. Some stories are reality, others are fiction. Will the inquisitive reader be able to distinguish one from the other?

All stories about abandoned houses can be divided into several categories:

  • city's legends
  • digger stories
  • historical facts
  • legends and tales

Urban legends about abandoned

This is a kind of folklore, which was formed in the modern society among young people. As a rule, these are scary stories that are passed from mouth to mouth, transformed under the influence of retelling and whimsically changing from narrator to narrator. Very often, urban legends are tied to a specific place - and as a rule, this is an old abandoned building in which something happened to a friend or just an acquaintance of the narrator.

Digger stories

This type scary stories about abandoned scares with its realism. Diggers are serious, hardened dungeon explorers who inspire confidence, since a priori they are unlikely to lie. Although ... trust, but verify. Very often there are stories of diggers in which people simply describe their uncomfortable feelings in one place or another underground. Sometimes the visions that followed the discomfort are also described. In general, read for yourself.

Historical facts

Every abandoned castle or old building is associated with some real historical fact, as a rule, entailed the development of paranormal activity. Sometimes it is the sudden death of one of the inhabitants, sometimes it is a murder, sometimes it is an unhappy love. On the basis of this historical information, any visitor to the old house can explain the source of the strange and terrible events that he witnessed.

Legends and tales

Folklore associated with a particular abandoned place (house, bridge, tower, lighthouse). This, as it were, is not yet a fact, that is, these events are not confirmed by any evidence or evidence, but information about them has been passed down from generation to generation, from father to son, and looks very reliable. Because that's what they say...

The action of this story took place after the events described by me in the stories: “Walk Walker”, “Snakes in the Stove” and “Hand of Fate”.

It was 1997. By this time, Anar was already living in Turkmenistan. Grandma has been gone for 8 years now. The only person who understood and loved him died. And my husband was left all alone in this cruel world ...

He was riding a motorcycle on the Karakum sands and, according to the law of meanness, gasoline suddenly ran out. "Damn it!" thought Anar, dismounting from his iron horse. It was a pity to leave him, but there was nothing to do, not to drag him in his hands through the desert.

There was, of course, a sandy road, along which cars sometimes drove.

I'll tell you about an abandoned children's camp called Gagarinets. This camp is located ten kilometers from the city of Izhevsk. There are also working camps nearby, the closest of them is "Festivalny" (I could be wrong, I didn't go there myself). People say that "Gagarinets" was obviously built in a geopathic zone - simply speaking, in an "unclean" place.

The events that led to the decision to close the camp took place back in Soviet times- that is, the abandoned camp is about 30 years old, if not more. The guys and the leaders in the camp had fun - almost like hide and seek, only the driver was tied to a tree, and he had to get rid of (they were tied on purpose weakly) and go look for friends.

My friend and I went on a hike to the abandoned Lopatinsky mine. They never reached him, because they went the wrong way and got a little lost. Since it was already getting dark, we decided to stop for the night and continue our journey in the morning. We set up a tent, lit a fire, prepared a little meal, we sit and talk.
And then I see that my friend is peering somewhere behind me (and the forest is rare there, visibility is at least a hundred meters). I ask her, what happened? She replied that everything was fine. We talk further. And then I saw something, from which my blood froze in my veins - behind my friend, about twenty meters away, I saw a shadow as tall as a man, oval in shape, blacker than black.

It happened not so long ago - a month ago. My friend and I, one might say, are “stalkers”: don’t feed us bread, just let us climb into the old building. And not just climb, but rummage around there. Lanterns and a knife are always with me, I have matches, he has stew. And we found another unfinished building - construction was abandoned in the 90s. There is also a watchman there - an old grandfather who let us through for a "bubble" of vodka.

The building had 12 floors. On the first one, there are a lot of ashes from fires (four pieces) and stains - either fuel oil, or tar, or something else. When we got to the 10th floor it started to smell really bad.

There is an abandoned hospital in Kharkov very close to the airport - a one-story small building, all covered with various inscriptions (in particular, some phone number is repeatedly repeated among them). Directly in front of this very building is a playground and a five-story building. The doors of this building are always wide open.
Since circumstances required me to walk past this building several times a week, I made it a habit to occasionally go into this building and walk along the empty corridors, listen to the silence there and study the layout. What surprised me a little in this building was the cleanliness (the absence of beer cans on the floor) and the desertedness (when I come in, there is no one).

Recently, from my mother, I heard a story that can not be called otherwise than mysticism.
Even in their youth, they went mushroom picking in a company. And they were offered by their father's employee, who also went with his wife and brother. Let's go in his car. There was no specific direction, they just went to the forest, where they were advised by experienced mushroom pickers. They left the car at the edge of the forest, they themselves decided not to stray far from each other, and in which case, to shout, and for those who get lost, those who got out will honk from the car (sorry, mobile phones didn't exist then). As usual in an unfamiliar place, and even in the forest, they imperceptibly separated and dad and mom got lost.

All over the world there are abandoned buildings covered with legends of the past. Fans of tickling the nerves often go there to see paranormal activity with their own eyes. And skeptics, who cannot be frightened by any ghosts, listen with interest to stories related to this or that house. In this post, we have collected the creepiest abandoned buildings that will give you goosebumps.

There are many legends around this creepy abandoned hotel located in Cyprus. Many people claim to have seen ghosts there. “Why would there be ghosts?” - you ask. And it was like this...

In 1930, the hotel flourished and was the most popular tourist destination. Berengaria was owned by a very rich man who had three sons. When his father died, he decided to divide the inheritance in the form of a hotel and family wealth equally between his sons.

After a certain time, the brothers began to quarrel over the division of the profits brought by the hotel. And soon after the start of the conflict, they all died under very strange circumstances.

Not knowing the true cause of their death, people decided that their father and the hotel had taken revenge on them, which, by the way, turned out to be abandoned. The locals took everything they could carry away from there. And it is believed that the hotel has become a haven for the ghosts of greedy brothers.

This now abandoned building of a former sanatorium is located in Louisville, Kentucky (USA). In the 20s of the last century, this city had the highest mortality rates from tuberculosis, as it was located in a swampy area. In 1926, a sanatorium was built here, famous for its advanced methods of treating then incurable tuberculosis.

Nevertheless, the mortality rate in the sanatorium was very high. So that patients would not see how many people were dying, it was decided to build a special tunnel 150 meters long and send the bodies of the dead to railway station. It was called the "Tunnel of Death".

When a cure for tuberculosis was finally found, the sanatorium was empty. After that, it housed a nursing home with a treatment center, which was closed due to terrible conditions for people. There was even talk of conducting experiments on the elderly. Since then, the building has been empty, the vandals broke the windows in it, took out all the furniture.

Everyone who visited this abandoned place vied with each other about the high paranormal activity there. Except strange sounds, slamming doors, arbitrarily moving objects, visitors have seen here little boy playing with a ball, a woman with cut wrists, calling for help; a hearse driving up to the service entrance to the building, where coffins were loaded into it. We also saw the ghosts of two nurses here, one of whom hanged herself after learning about tuberculosis infection, and the second jumped out of the window.

The forgotten estate of the Demidov family is located in the village of Taitsy in the Leningrad region, about 39 km from St. Petersburg. The owner of the house was industrialist Alexander Demidov.

It is said that Demidov's daughter, Sophia, suffered from tuberculosis in her youth. So that she could, without leaving the house, arrange walks in the fresh air, the corridor of the house ran in a circle along the windows, and wide glazed terraces were arranged on the sides of the building.

The legend said that the seriously ill Sophia read a lot, and dreamed of taking up natural science, following the example of her grandfather. But the disease did not leave her. One autumn day, from the terrace of the mansion, Sophia noticed an unfamiliar young man in the park. The girl violated the doctors' ban and left the house to meet a young man. They started seeing each other every day. But one day the young man did not appear at the appointed hour. A thunderstorm broke out outside the window, and Sofya kept running out onto the front stairs to see if her friend was coming. Running out once again, Sophia slipped and, hitting her head on a stone step, died.

Since then, her ghost during a thunderstorm appears on the terrace and halls of the house.

Actually, it's just a legend. And Sophia recovered safely and married the Chief Jägermeister Count Pyotr Gavrilovich Golovkin. She died at the age of 62.

But extreme travelers claim that in the estate you can meet the spirit of Alexander Demidov himself. If you hide on the front staircase of the house under the cover of night, you can hear rustling on the upper floors, as if something or someone is quietly turning the pages of an old book.

The abandoned Villa de Vecchi, also known as the "Haunted Mansion", is located in Italy near Lake Como. For many years now, it has attracted mysticism lovers from all over the world, thanks to its mystery.

In 1850, returning to his homeland after a long wandering, Count Felix de Vecchi decided to create a cozy nest for his family. And he succeeded. In the first years of its creation, the villa enchanted guests with its warmth and comfort. It had a large piano and a warm fireplace, the walls were decorated with expensive frescoes. A wonderful park was laid out around the villa, in which a rather powerful fountain was even installed, working under the pressure of water from the mountainside.

According to rumors, there is one village in one area of the far north. It is abandoned and long abandoned. But, as the old-timers say, no one left there at all, and all the residents disappeared without a trace. And it is not known what caused this - whether the disease decimated everyone or what unknown forces took them away. To this day, only one road passes through this village, leading to more lively places. And one day, when you are in these places, remember one rule - no one should drive through this village at night.

This story happened at the turn of the sixties - seventies of the last century. One night two travelers on horseback were heading down this road. Of course, they had never heard of the local rule. One of them was young, daring, and his horse was a match for him: strong, fast and skittish. He galloped ahead, humming a song merrily. An old man followed him at a leisurely pace. His faithful horse, with whom he lived almost all his life, wearily stepped with his hooves on the road mud. There was nothing left for them to go through. It was evening, and they were going to reach their destination in the morning. Soon the young man turned to his companion.

Hey grandfather! I'll run ahead and make my way. If so, we'll meet on the spot.

Well, go. On my own I'll get there somehow, otherwise my back hurts to keep up with you.

The young man nodded eagerly and immediately galloped forward. The old man walked for some time, until he rushed back. His appearance was contented and delighted. Looks like he brought good news.

There is a village ahead. A kind woman lives there. She said she would give us shelter for the night and treat us to dinner.

Well, how! - the old one was also delighted. - Finally, in a human way, we will spend the night: under the roof and in the warmth.

Well, I jumped. - The young man explained to him where to find that house and drove the horse, hurrying to find himself at the warm hearth.

The night was in full swing when the old man entered the village. She was bad. Houses squinted, empty windows looked unkindly. In the distance, in the midst of this devastation, a light burned and smoke rose. “What did that woman lose here?” The old man doubted himself. He drove into the courtyard, dismounted. He took the horse by the bridle and began to tie it to the serge (the Yakut pole to which horses were tied. Also, in addition to its practical meaning, it has a sacred meaning about the connection with the three worlds: upper, middle and lower). Then the horse bucked, looked at the owner with a human look and said to him: “You have come to a bad place, old man, but what can you do. Do not say anything. Pretend you don't hear. I feel that a bad force lurks in this house. The owner of the house is not a person, but an embittered spirit. Do as I command if you want to live. Don't bind me. And untie that young one too. As soon as you enter the house, the hostess will treat you with various dishes. Refuse politely and eat what you have with you. And then, when she settles you for the night, you don't listen to her. Lie down in front of the door. Do not fall asleep, do not close your eyes and listen. Maybe you'll live until the morning. And if something goes wrong, immediately run and saddle a young horse. He is faster and stronger than me. And I'll follow. Don't say my words to your friend. He will make you laugh, and he is already doomed.

The old man was old and superstitious, and therefore was not surprised. He did not tie his horses, and with a heavy heart he went along the overgrown path to the house. From fear of the unknown, a spasm ran down their backs, a cold sweat broke out. After all, he did! A woman cannot live alone in an abandoned village! And so, with trembling knees, the old man stepped into the house. Despite everything in the house, the stove crackled hospitably, there was a delicious smell of boiled meat. The young man sat at the table and ate on both cheeks. The hostess bustled around him. Not young, but not old either, plump, economic. Inspires confidence. The old man greeted the mistress of the house and sat down at the table next to the young one. Arranging dinner in front of the old man, she kept asking what was going on in the world, what news they had. Like the most ordinary woman in the wilderness. Yes, the old horse would not deceive the old man, and therefore he was on his guard, but at the same time he tried not to betray himself. Large, juicy and fatty pieces of boiled meat, sour cream, cottage cheese, jam - all this was at the table. How did she manage to keep the household in such an abandoned place? The old man was finally convinced of the words of his old friend. The old man did not touch the bewitched food, he took out his oats, cooked a little earlier, and sat quietly in a corner. The young man looked at the old man in bewilderment and reproached him for not showing respect for the hostess, refusing to eat.

Why did you get your oats? Show respect to the good hostess, taste something.

I would be glad, but my stomach is no longer the same as in my youth. He answered with all courtesy. - I won't be able to taste this meat. Tomorrow you have to get up early and go for a long time. Don't misunderstand, good mistress.

You seem to be completely out of your mind, since you reject such mercy! Well, okay, I'll get more.

The table was soon empty, the conversations died down. The woman invited everyone to sit closer to the fire. They lay down to sleep. The young man lay down in the warmth by the fire, and fell asleep as soon as he closed his eyes. The old man lay down at the door. He lay there, listening and trembling. The fire in the stove went out surprisingly quickly. Cold rose from the floor and gradually reached the bones, but the old man remained where he was. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a shadow running quickly along the wall. The old man was terribly scared. Then he heard quiet sounds as if someone were drinking and champing. The sounds came from a far dark corner. The old man quietly got up, took his knapsack and looked around.

And it immediately became clear that he should not have done this.

In the darkness, the silhouette of the hostess was distinguished. She huddled in the dark on all fours. Horror gripped him as the moon illuminated that corner a little. She dragged the young one there and devoured him with a frenzy. All shaking, the old man cautiously opened the door, trying to leave without being noticed. On leaving, he touched a stick at the threshold on the edge of his clothes, which fell to the floor with a wild crack. The hostess threw her inhuman, hungry look. The old man screamed in panic and rushed outside. The old man fled from the accursed house as if the years he had lived had retreated from him. Behind him, the cries of the hostess were heard, filled with anger and resentment. When he ran, the old man almost out of habit jumped on his horse, but remembered what he said to him, and in a second he was already galloping at full speed on the young one. Behind him is the old one. The young horse sensed the old man's fear and rushed at full speed.

"I'll catch up with you! You won't get away from me!" yelled the hostess from behind.

The horse told the old man not to look back. But he couldn't help himself. Grandfather looked around, and fear settled forever in his heart. This woman ran like a dog at the speed of a bear. Her eyes burned with red fire in the night, her mouth was huge, with sharp protruding fangs. A long tongue dangled behind. All her face and hands were covered in blood. She made nasty coughing noises as she ran. The distance between them was rapidly shrinking.

"Run, master! I already have a little left” - only the loyalty of the old horse was stronger than fear. The old one abruptly stopped, rearing up and turned to the accursed mistress. The old man never saw his old faithful horse again, but he did not forget to remember him with a kind word.

"I will find you! I'll get it out of the ground! You can't run from me! I ate your friend, I will eat your horse and soon I will come to you! - the woman, distraught with impotent rage, shouted after the old man. He seemed to have heard these words more than once at night somewhere in the distance.

The old man did not dare to go down this road even in daylight, and therefore returned home. Then he learned that this woman appears at night, lures and kidnaps travelers. Maybe it was she who devoured all the inhabitants of that village, or maybe she appeared after. However, this village stands to this day, and no one dares to walk on it when the sun goes down.

P.S. This village, as I was told, can be seen from images from orbit, but the author does not remember its name: this story has been told for a long time. By the way, but the car is not a horse, it will not warn you if something happens.
