Mtsko check exam results for teachers. "USE for teachers": myths and reality. Maybe you came by mistake

The idea of testing teachers to see if they are ready to take the Unified State Examination, for which graduates are “trained,” still causes controversy and resentment among teachers. She does not understand why she was invited again and the geography teacher Reseda Yasyuchenya. Indeed, last year she already proved her level - she passed by 100 points!

- Maybe you came by mistake? we doubt.

There is no error. They said that only the highest category is exempt and who is being certified this year. That is why we are outraged. Well, if they are watching, then they should have invited those who, for example, have 48 points, they would come to take it, - says the teacher-student.

- You, probably, are preparing students for the exam quite well yourself?

I usually don't have many who donate. But last year there was a girl who passed with 86 points, she got an A.

There are still many dissatisfied teachers in the corridors of the Kazan Lyceum No. 110. Today, in addition to geography, they take English, mathematics, computer science, biology and physics.

Pass this test every year, when we can devote this time to working with students, somehow further developing them. This is a waste of time and nerves. That year I passed certification, testing, and the exam - everything is fine, I confirmed the category. And this is stress again, especially after the inspection of Rosobrnadzor, - teacher Svetlana Khakimova sighs.

I also already have three test certificates. Points are normal. Well, you can at least once every 3 years, why every year? It's generally possible to rattle in the hospital. Such stress is strong. Here in the morning my blood pressure is “170”, I got drunk on medicine and came. Age and health are not the same, - adds her colleague Olga Mikota.

This is what the teacher needs

So they assure in the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science. According to the authors of the initiative, diagnostic testing will help assess the level of a teacher's knowledge in their subject, identify their weaknesses and help them.

If the teacher himself in mathematics or the Russian language cannot pass KIM in his subject with a high score, he will never teach his student for a high score. Do you agree? - answers with a question about the purpose of testing the head of the Department general education Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Tamara Fedorova.

According to her, the ministry will not even consider the KIMs, they will immediately be sent to the municipal methodological services. It is up to them to evaluate the test results and take action.

There will be no administrative actions or personnel decisions. This is done for the teacher himself. If there are gaps, that is, the teacher does not know certain sections of his subject very well, then he will need to improve his qualifications, the organizers assured.

To the question: why re-examine teachers with a hundred and those who also showed good results, the Ministry of Education and Science said that this would not happen in the future:

So far, we have released only those teachers who have the highest qualification category, and those who are certified this year. If this year the teacher shows stable results and scores 100 points in his subject, we will work them out pointwise, and in the future they will not undergo diagnostic testing, - the representative of the ministry promised.

"Fakes" of teachers elementary school

A colleague gave the child to the first grade in a Kazan school. And already from the first days of study, when the teacher began to set tasks, she was horrified:

My son's teacher came only after high school. She writes “blank note”, “glue fake”, etc. How did she pass the exam at all, being a schoolgirl? Or have you lost your knowledge in 5 years of studying at KFU? – mum is lamenting.

All the parents in the class are shocked. After all, first-graders rely on the teacher in everything: as she writes, so it is correct! What will she teach them?

To this question, officials from the Ministry of Education and Science answer that this is another reason to conduct diagnostic testing of teachers. The innovation of this year just provides that elementary school teachers will also pass it. KIMs were developed for them at the Kazan Pedagogical College.

The most important thing is to know the technique. We set the task to check the psychological and pedagogical component. Because it is impossible to work in elementary school without knowledge of pedagogy and psychology of children, - the director of the college Anfisa Zalyalova is convinced.

- What about literacy? - we are interested

And that will be the next task. I absolutely agree with you. We recently tested for knowledge of mathematics. Of course, the teacher must be both literate and know mathematics. Of course, it is wrong if the teacher writes with errors, - the head of the institution agreed.

Rosobrnadzor study of teachers primary school in the country on knowledge of mathematics showed that:

46% of teachers know the subject at a level below the basic level;

44% know at the basic level;

10% know at a level above the basic.

Myths about USE teachers

For two years of discussion of this topic, including on the site sntat.ru, teachers have accumulated a lot of complaints. We addressed the main ones to the Ministry of Education and Science. Tamara Fedorova tried to dispel the "delusions" of teachers.

Myth 1. Name. Officially, the procedure is called "diagnostic testing on CIMs of the Unified state exam". It was the journalists and the educators themselves who, for brevity, called it the "Unified State Examination for Teachers."

Myth 2. For money. In the comments to our articles on this topic, users reported charging teachers for participating in the exam. Say, they collected 400 rubles from them.

No money is collected from teachers. At the request of our minister to Rosobrnadzor, FIPI provided us with KIMs free of charge. We didn't incur any expenses.

Myth 3. Boycott teachers. A recent petition written on behalf of the teachers of Tatarstan has made a lot of noise. The authors opposed the USE among teachers and called for a boycott of testing, as was done in the 175th gymnasium.

It is not true that the 175th gymnasium boycotted the USE. There were only 2 teachers who passed the KIM blank. So what is written in the petition is all a lie.

Myth 4. There is no methodical help. Teachers complained that they did not receive any promised help following the results of last year's testing.

I can state with responsibility that methodical work was carried out. That roadmaps have been drawn up. Starting from May 16, we held a report of municipal methodological services at the Institute for the Development of Education, where they reported on the work on the implementation of data road maps. And I think the results of students this year rushed forward in the secondary USE scores, including because the corresponding work was organized.

Myth 5. Illegal. The petition against the holding of the Unified State Examination among teachers claims that this procedure is illegal and violates the rights of teachers.

We test teachers on knowledge of the content of the subject in order to help them. There are no violations of the law here.

Teachers write off on the exam?

The teachers themselves say so. Preparing for testing today, one of the teachers in the hallway remarked to her colleague with resentment:

I honestly prepared, I spent so much time preparing, and many calmly wrote off and that's it.

Last year, even the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan doubted the objectivity of the results of testing individual teachers. They showed too good scores, and their graduates, on the contrary, failed.

At the same time, the picture of the objectivity of testing subject teachers in a number of districts is alarming. Subject teachers of Kukmorsky, Mamadyshsky, Arsky, Baltasinsky, Leninogorsky districts demonstrated the highest results. At the same time, the sections we conduct do not confirm a comparable level of knowledge among their students, Engel Fattakhov doubts.

Apparently for this reason, this year they decided to film everything that happens in the class during the exam. Video recordings will also be sent to the Republican Monitoring Center. If its specialists suspect someone of cheating, they will be able to check it. Camera teachers are not afraid, but the procedure itself was considered humiliating:

I don’t know about other subjects, but it’s impossible to write off in English. Because we do not know what materials will come to us, what assignments and essays we will write. Our cheat sheets are in my head, - the English teacher is confident.

Previously, it was always allowed to use notes. On the contrary, it was encouraged. Impossible such great material keep in mind at the same time. Why are we being imprisoned like this, and as if we are passing for a diploma for the first time, we have already received it, - her neighbor is indignant.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, last year teachers of the republic passed the test in Russian language, mathematics and biology quite well. Many scored above 70 points. At the same time, there are subjects in which teachers need to catch up.

Chemistry is of great concern to us, and informatics and CT are of the greatest concern, but we will work, - summed up Tamara Fedorova.

In total, 16,000 teachers passed the USE in Tatarstan today. For them, 61 points were opened as well as last year in 13 subjects plus primary classes. The results will be known in three weeks, but only the test participants themselves will know them. The ministry assured that the public will not be informed of the assessments of teachers in any case.

The staff also understood the discrepancy between the amount of work and the allotted time, so they gave me an extra 10 minutes. After 55 minutes of work, I solved 24 tasks without checking. I handed in my work and left in a terrible state, told my dad about everything. Dad turned to the administration, and without any dispute, I was allowed to write the work for as long as it took. I worked another 60 minutes. It was uncomfortable: it seemed to me that I was detaining people.

The answer sheet deserves special mention. It was standard, contained 26 points and did not correspond to the format of the work: in terms of the number of tasks, in the absence of a form for a detailed answer. All this had to be written on the back in free form. At subsequent diagnostics, I was also given this form, and it also did not coincide with the format of other works.

About a week later, we received an e-mail response with the results of the diagnostics (file attached). For each task, the table shows the topic of the task, the maximum score and the grade obtained. It turned out that I got a much lower mark than I expected. At the screening, we were given assignments and my work; again there were no specifications and evaluation criteria. In many ways, my mistakes turned out to be stupid - I myself wondered how I could write such a thing. We considered that some assignments were assessed incorrectly, and one assignment did not correspond to the standard program. Photographing was not allowed, a copy of the work was not provided.

At home, we prepared and submitted an appeal by e-mail, which remained unanswered. A little later, we received a certificate (the file is attached), which indicated the initial result. They refused to give us a certified sheet with a transcript of the results.

In addition to the above, it should be added that the impossibility of analyzing errors at home significantly reduces the educational value of such diagnostics. I was well prepared for the diagnosis, that's for sure, and counted on "5". At first the impression was so bad that I didn't want to go there anymore.

It should be noted that at this diagnostic, the administration and staff were interested in us, as in the SO-shniks. We were given a personal registration sheet, we were open to dialogue, we met halfway in everything that was not prohibited. Then the situation changed, but more on that next time.

Natalya Vladimirovna Belova, teacher of history and social studies at school-lyceum No. 1420, Honorary Worker systems of general education of the Russian Federation:

Since 2008, the USE has firmly entered our lives, becoming today one of the main tools for testing the knowledge of graduates. And from that moment on, discussions around the Unified State Exam have not ceased! Almost like football or hockey in the old days united the fans of our country, regardless of their field of activity, age and gender, so the USE today continues to excite not only public opinion, but also the minds of scientists, officials, cultural figures, scientists, and the teachers themselves . Each innovation causes a response and is often not without criticism.

On the one hand, it was an interest to feel the atmosphere of the exam and, if you like, to feel like a schoolgirl. I can’t call myself an arrogant person, but I didn’t have to specifically allocate time for preparation, since systematic studies and work as an expert of the GIA-11 in social science and history gives me a lot of confidence, makes me always be “in the know”, look for different approaches, techniques that allow my students to successfully pass the exam, correctly distributing the exam time.

Social science is not only a set of facts and theses, it is also a language, the knowledge of which helps young man learn to talk about society and the state, about the world of people, of which he is a part. The difficulty lies, in my opinion, in the fact that it is necessary to state it in writing.

Undoubtedly, one of the most dangerous risks in the learning process for a child is the incompetence of a teacher. Of course, one should not say that knowledge of the discipline being taught and the ability to solve the exam for a high score are one and the same. But if the teacher is incompetent in the field of state certification, then the risk of graduates getting low scores increases.

In this regard, my personal experience passing the exam showed that a teacher, placed in a tight time frame of the exam, will be much better able to teach not only how to solve certain tasks, but also how to plan time for the exam. Therefore, my position is that teachers should not give in to passing the exam, should not be afraid to do it. But it is necessary to approach the solution of this issue with maximum correctness, it is impossible to cut on the shoulder, since the opinion of the pedagogical community cannot be called unambiguous. There should be no "campaigning". And yet, passing the exam as a teacher is a right that should not be turned into a duty.

Of course, passing the exam by a teacher is important not only for the headmaster, who forms teaching staff and interested in high performance. Passing the exam teacher, in my opinion, is important for parents of students. They are inspired by the fact that the teacher knows his subject and, having passed this test, will be able to teach the child. And I would like to answer my students in the words of the head of the Moscow Department of Education, Isaac Iosifovich Kalina: “A personal example of a teacher and the opportunity to demonstrate professional skills can be a good undertaking for graduates, and for all students.”

In conclusion, I would like to thank the staff and management of the Moscow Center for the Quality of Education for giving all teachers the opportunity to pass this test and pass it with honor. I want to believe that for many of my colleagues this was the case. My score = 92 on a 100-point scale and 58 points on the primary score.
