Lingvist is
An experienced team of 10 people who have a total of 15 scientific degrees and speak 10 languages. The team has combined their knowledge and strength to develop a service that teaches the language in an accelerated mode.
How? Very simple:
A smart algorithm keeps track of progress through the program, learns what you are better at and what parts of the language you have problems with. The system adjusts in real time to your development pace and vocabulary pattern for fast learning.

Why 200 hours?

Read
A large collection of texts in different directions from jokes to thin. Literature does not have tasks and tests after reading, but offers to check your understanding of the texts. Next to each, a useful block is displayed with the percentage of words that you have learned. If the text has incomprehensible words, you can select them for translation and voice playback.
Listen
The audio section works on the same principle as the text section. The list also shows the percentage of words learned, and the playback is accompanied by a text part so that you can listen and read.
Do you speak English well?
The task consists of a sentence in the target language with a missing word that must be entered. At the top, you can include a translation of this phrase in a language that you know. At any time, you can see your statistics in the development of words. Today I managed to achieve 79% correct answers, which is quite good, considering that gradually with an increase in the number of words, the percentage of correct answers decreases. For some words, you will be able to see conjugation rules or irregular shapes verbs. A small guide to the rules is also available online in the computer version. But it is better to use specialized textbooks for these purposes.

You can also see more interesting information about the number of words currently being studied, I note that they are being studied, not learned. Very interesting statistics and useful information are given that 1000 words are enough to understand up to 75% of the text, and the rest can already be thought out, of course, if it is not complex text with technical terms. You can look at your dictionary, where there are all the studied words with the number of their repetitions during the study. Problem words will be repeated more often. I want to say that the technique is quite effective, I felt progress and I try to find time both for working on mobile and on a computer, where it is easier to enter words. Moreover, I acted cunningly. On the mobile version, I installed the study from Russian to French, on the computer I chose the English-French version to check how clearly I remembered the words. True, given that in English up to 80% French words, only with other endings, you often guess which word you need to enter.
I advise you to join this system, because now the program is still free, from the beginning of 2018 they plan to introduce a paid subscription version, where other useful functions will be added (some are already available by the end of the year), but it is also planned to leave the free version, because the creators need the number of project participants to improve the word memorization system. The application, as a rule, is consistent in case with the word being defined. There are exceptions in which the application can be put in a case other than the word being defined: these are names - proper names and nicknames.
If the application before the main word can be replaced by a single-root adjective, then the hyphen is not put after the application. For example: “old watchman” (application - old man, main word watchman, old man can be replaced with “old” - old watchman), and watchman-old man (the hyphen is put because the application and the main word are common nouns).

I will say right away that the interface is as simple and pleasing to the eye as possible (to me, for sure). Nothing extra. No animated pictures, ridiculous fonts and other unnecessary nonsense. A kind of optimal minimalism. Children and teenagers may not like it
After launching the application, we see on the screen three main sections:
- memorization (learning new words, repeating the past, fixing the result)
- reading (interesting texts on various topics, from simple to complex)
- listening (turn on the sound louder and try to understand foreign speech, also from simple to complex)
I try to use all three equally, but this is not always possible. I love remembering the most. I do reading according to my mood, but I leave listening for the weekend, when no one is at home and there is an opportunity to delve into the text properly.
