Accelerated course of study at the institute. Diploma - in three years: how to get a higher education in a shortened or accelerated program. About entrance exams

Actually normative documents describing the system of higher vocational education, reduced and accelerated programs are allowed. But who has the right to enter them? What is the peculiarity of study? Let's understand the concepts.

FAST PROGRAM

An accelerated training program is provided for those who decide to master the main educational program in a shorter period. To switch to accelerated learning, you must write an application after successfully passing the first session (intermediate certification). Then the academic council of the university (faculty) decides whether the student can switch to accelerated learning. Then an order (or order) is issued, an individual training schedule is developed.

It is important to remember: the transition to accelerated learning is voluntary. The student at any time has the right to refuse the accelerated program and switch to the full program of study. On average, the term of study can be reduced by no more than one academic year.

REDUCED PROGRAM

An abbreviated training program can be organized by the university for those who already have a secondary vocational education of the corresponding profile or a higher vocational education. Transfer to the program is also voluntary. Before submitting documents to the admissions office, you need to find out if the university has reduced training programs. If so, are there specially formed groups (then enrollment will be made for the first year in such a group) or not - then you will be added to the students already studying for subsequent courses.

The university itself decides on the formation of groups studying under reduced programs. Features of training are prescribed in the admission rules.

It is worth remembering that the period of study is reduced not due to the fact of having a previous education, but solely due to the transfer (for people with higher education) and recertification (for people with secondary education) of previously completed disciplines and the number of hours listened.

If you have a diploma of higher (incomplete higher) professional education, then:

Transferring (ie, transferring disciplines and grades on them from the previous diploma to the future one) is subject to subjects that are close in name and content to the disciplines in the curriculum of the selected university by at least 55 - 60%. Usually, the subjects of the humanitarian, socio-economic, mathematical, natural-science block and general professional disciplines similar in content are re-read. A decrease in educational and industrial practice is envisaged.

You can find out which disciplines will be re-credited, and what will have to be taken, in admission committee or at the faculty. Before arriving at the university, be sure to take a diploma and an appendix to it with you, on the basis of which the issue of the number of credited disciplines will be decided.

After enrollment, an individual schedule will be drawn up with a complete list of disciplines that will need to be taken within a certain time frame. Important condition: students studying in a shortened time frame, with intermediate certification during school year can take no more than 20 exams.

The term for mastering the reduced program is set depending on the profile of the previous higher education:

A profile that does not correspond to the education received - at least 3 years (full-time), at least 3.5 years (part-time (evening) and part-time education);
- a profile corresponding to the education received - at least 2 years (full-time), at least 2.5 years (part-time (evening) and part-time education);
- for persons who have a bachelor's degree and wish to continue their studies in the specialty of the relevant profile without interruption in education - at least 1 year (full-time), at least 1.5 years (part-time (evening) and part-time education);
- for persons wishing to obtain a master's degree - at least 1.5 years.

It is worth being especially attentive to those who have an old-style diploma (issued before 1996). Most likely, the term of study will be increased compared to those who received a diploma of higher education recently. The fact is that such diplomas, in addition to the lack of information about the hours studied, contain a number of subjects that are no longer in the modern curricula of universities (for example, disciplines of a Marxist-Leninist orientation: "History of the CPSU", etc.), - such disciplines are impossible will be re-counted, therefore, the number of items that will need to be added will increase.

NOTE!

An abbreviated training program can be implemented as an accelerated one (usually no more than 1 year).

The development of a reduced or accelerated program is carried out voluntarily. A student who, for some reason, cannot cope with studies, at any time upon application can be transferred to the full term of study in the relevant basic educational program (if it is available at the university and there are vacancies).

The university has the right to change, in comparison with applicants for the full term of study, the number, list and forms of entrance examinations(usually universities are limited to interviews or tests).

When mastering an abbreviated educational program may not provide for the study of optional disciplines; upon the personal application of the student, previously studied disciplines can be re-certified and re-credited as disciplines established by the university at the student's choice.

In the absence of a diploma supplement, the student requests an academic certificate from educational institution in which he received a higher or secondary professional education, or the current curriculum for the relevant period. Otherwise, enrollment in an abbreviated training program is not possible.

The terms of study should be the same for both state and non-state universities with state accreditation. Therefore, the offer to get a second higher education in one year should not please, but seriously alert: in this case, either the university does not have accreditation (and you will receive not a state diploma, but a filkin’s letter), or in the process of studying it turns out that you allegedly “do not have time » report all disciplines curriculum and extend the term of study (a frequent trick of some unscrupulous universities).

FOR COLLEGE GRADUATES

If you want to continue your studies in an unrelated specialty (for example, "Management"), then you will have to go to the full program of study for the first year.

Instruction

Think about whether you have the strength and ability to master the program of your choice in a shortened time frame. If yes, then first check out the list of professions for which training does not involve a form, since it requires not only theoretical, but also serious practical training and constant communication with teachers. Find out if your destination is included in this list.

Contact a university that has state-run training for specialists and has the right to carry out external studies in accordance with the Academic Council. Universities that do not have state accreditation (it doesn’t matter if it is a state educational institution or a non-governmental educational institution) do not have the right to open such a form of education.

Prepare and submit the necessary documents to the admission committee of your chosen university. The admission committee of the university may also request other documents (military ID, work book, etc.).

After successful delivery Entrance examinations, draw up an application in the prescribed form addressed to the rector, in which you ask to be transferred to an external student. The university administration may refuse you if, for example, your certificate contains “satisfactory” grades, including non-major subjects, or postpone the decision until the first session.

In case of a positive decision, you will receive a student card and a record book, in which “External study” will be indicated in the right corner on the 1st page, as well as an attestation plan for the entire course of study. The deadlines for submission are set by the administration of the university in agreement with the Department of Education and other universities that provide training in related specialties, since intermediate certification of external students often takes place in different educational institutions.

You have the right to a three-hour free consultation of university professors before each intermediate assessment. In addition to the theoretical part of the training, you will also be able to gain practical knowledge, for which you will be provided with plans for laboratory classes and given directions for passing industrial and undergraduate practice.

Pass all intermediate exams and prepare for the defense of the graduation project. Usually it takes place in the same terms as for graduates graduating from a university in full-time, part-time and evening forms of study. Based on the results of the final certification, you will receive a state-recognized diploma of higher professional education.

Studying is not easy. Most students cannot graduate from high school due to heavy workload and, as a result, laziness. Meanwhile, higher education is necessary. Graduating from an educational institution is not easy, but following some tips and tricks you can overcome this difficulty.

Instruction

Higher education system educational institutions arranged a little simpler than in . The key to successful study is hidden in. If the student is a full-time student, then he is required to attend classes. However, many students skip. That is why they have a pretty hard time. The teacher looks at attendance. Some of them may only credit this.

Must have all lectures. Try to write every lecture.

Work in pairs. Prepare several seminars during the semester. With high attendance and the availability of grades for the work, the teacher can set the offset automatically.

Try to get to know the teacher's teaching style right away. There are those who require all the material for the semester and an impeccable knowledge of their subject. Students have a hard time with them. High attendance and pair work can save here. Keep in mind that admission to the exam and test, each teacher exposes in his own way.

The most important moment in a student's life is the session. There are usually two sessions per year separated by semesters. During the session, students take exams, admission to which is ensured by passing all tests and coursework. It is with offsets that more problems arise, since teachers are especially demanding of them. Exams are a little easier, but you should not relax. Try to pass the exam on the first try and together with the group. Subsequently, the chances of surrender drops sharply.

Writing term papers and laboratory work obligatory part educational process. The best option here is independent work. You will not always be able to protect the work downloaded or made by another student. But if you study the material enough, then the defense will go well.

After nine sessions, you have to surrender state exams. These are quite responsible events, so take them seriously. At the end of the exams, you will begin writing and defending your thesis.

Graduation from school is a very important stage in the life of every person. Everyone needs to cross this barrier. It will take a lot of strength and patience, intelligence and resourcefulness, knowledge and practical skills. But you need to finish school - regardless of whether you continue to study or go to work.

Instruction

The foundation for a future successful graduation from school is already being laid in the middle school. If you do not want to have problems in high school, you need to start working from an early age. If you study well from the very beginning, then you will have a certain reputation by the end of training. Such students are often predicted to be medalists. Now, of course, a lot depends on the successful passing of the exam, but you must admit that if you study from the very beginning, much more knowledge will remain in your head, and passing such an exam will no longer be so difficult.

Herself passing the exam is not an answer to any concrete questions, and the test form of tasks. In the exam, however, there is a section where you need to write an essay. In any case, this is not an exam that you can prepare for in three days by finding answers to questions and pulling out a single ticket on the exam. Here you need complex knowledge, that is, you need to study for a long time, gradually assimilating topic after topic. Therefore, in order to successfully complete by passing the exam, and thereby secure admission to a university, you need to work hard for the last two years - grades 10 and 11.

Just the same, in order to prepare yourself for this hard work, you need in the initial and high school develop the habit of working. It's not as difficult as it seems. Many mothers complain that school takes away all the health of their children, especially if the child is well and does a lot of work. However, it is possible to rationalize the work of the child, to make sure that homework took as little time as possible. Then the study will be easier, and the child will have more time to do normal children's activities - to walk with peers.

It's hard to take the bull by the horns when time is running out and you come into high school with a rich track record: two-year delays in the same class, C's and D's, and A's. bad behavior. All that is required here is your will. But for the future, know that so that your children do not have problems with finishing school, you need to instill a healthy attitude towards learning from childhood. Then they won't have the difficulties you're having.
