2.4 The activities of a social pedagogue and a school psychologist to promote a healthy lifestyle among children

Currently, the country is undergoing dramatic changes in economic, political and social life. These changes led to the emergence of new social problems, which primarily affected the upbringing, development, social formation of children, adolescents and youth. In this regard, there was an urgent need to develop a social and pedagogical service to help children and adolescents.

Socio-pedagogical activity is a kind of professional activity aimed at helping the child in the process of his socialization, mastering the socio-cultural experience and creating conditions for his self-realization.

The social pedagogue conducts all his activities in the formation of a healthy lifestyle taking into account the age and individual morphophysiological and psychological characteristics of children and adults. At the same time, special attention should be paid to such age stages, as preschool, adolescent and youth, when there is a particularly intensive growth and restructuring of the functional state of all vital systems of a developing organism. Science-based ideas about the stages of sexual development of girls and boys are also mandatory. The correct assessment of the psychological situation in the family, group is also essential. kindergarten, school classroom, informal association and club of teenagers.

Caring for the health of the wards is a component of the protective and protective function of a social teacher. And my goal today is to promote a healthy lifestyle, to awaken in you a sustainable motivation for a healthy lifestyle, so that after this event you consciously give up bad habits, if you have them.
