Materials for the school stage of the Olympiad in the Russian language. Materials for the school stage of the Russian language Olympiad The words are given mossy mouse industry revenge

(7.5 points) What sound is stressed in the word Edinburgh? Why? If you think that there is a certain phonetic process, specify it. Explain your decision. Give similar examples.

Criteria and answers

Edinburgh- a borrowed word. In the original form, the stress fell on the first syllable, but under the influence of phonetic analogy with stable toponyms already existing in Russian, like Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Orenburg, where the stress stably falls on the last syllable, the stress has moved in Russian to the last syllable.

For an indication of borrowing - 1 point, for indicating the original stress - 2 points, for pointing out the influence of the analogy process - 1 point for giving suitable examples 0.5 points(but not more 1.5 points), for an explicit (the term is optional) indication of the shift of stress when borrowing to the last syllable - 2 points.

Only 7.5 points.

Task 2

(2 points) The following excerpt is given from “The Tale of the Priest and his Worker Balda” by A.S. Pushkin.

  1. The pop thought
  2. He began to scratch his forehead.
  3. A click is a crack after all.
  4. Yes, he hoped for a Russian maybe.
  5. Pop says to Balda: “Okay.
  6. We won't both expensive.
  7. Live in my backyard
  8. Show your diligence and agility."

Give an interpretation of the word expensive on line 6.

Criteria and answers

expensive- unprofitable, at a loss, at a loss.

Only 2 points.

Task 3

(7.5 points) Words given: mouse, mossy, industry, revenge, cobbled, thinking, armpits, powerful, muscle, mossy.

Find among them those that go back to the same root, and distribute them into groups in accordance with a common historical root.

Specify common root.

Criteria and answers

  • mouse– mouse, armpits, muscle
  • moss/msh mossy, mossy
  • thought - industry, thinking
  • msh - vengeance
  • power - paved
  • power - powerful
  1. For each correctly found group - 0.5 points. If at least one of the group is wrong specified word group does not count.
  2. For each allomorph of one root - 0.5 points.

If the student finds an allomorph of any root not specified in the task (for example, revenge for vengeance), for each allomorph – 0.5 points.

Only 7.5 points.

Task 4

(2 points) Sentences are given, in one of which the phraseological phrase is encrypted. Phraseologism corresponds to the semantic and grammatical scheme (model) of the occurrence of an expression that really exists in the Russian language.

Did you take this thief-recidivist as an accountant to your company? Nothing to say, let the mole into the wardrobe!

Guess which phraseological unit is meant, write it down and give an interpretation of its meaning.

Criteria and answers

This is FE put the goat in the garden(1 point) allow someone to what he is especially attracted to; give someone free access to where he can be harmful or dangerous (1 point).

Only 2 points.

Task 5

(2 points) What feature is found in the formation of the sacrament desired from the verb search?

Criteria and answers

It's the lack of alternation sk/n(1 point) contrary general rule education passive participles present tense from the stem of the present tense of verbs ( isch-y - looking for) (1 point).

Only 2 points.

Task 6

(6 points) Highlight the grammatical basis in the last sentence of the fragment.

Puffer
In the thirteenth year, we were different with my brother
In the thirtieth Jaeger, and after in the forty-fifth.

Famusov
Yes, happiness, who has such a son!
Does he have, it seems, an order in his buttonhole?

Puffer
For the third of August; we sat down in a trench:
He was given with a bow, around my neck.

Famusov
A kind person, and look - so grab.
A wonderful man is your cousin.

Explain why you singled out the grammatical basis in this way and not otherwise.

Criteria and answers

Wonderful person your cousin!

There is an inversion in the sentence (the nature of the passage makes it possible to accurately determine that the statement characterizes Skalozub's cousin), so the predicate comes before the subject ("brother" - given, topic, characterized; "beautiful person" - new, rheme, characterizing).

The predicate here includes the phrase “beautiful person”, because without a defining adjective, the statement in the sentence loses its meaning (the fact that a brother is a person is obvious from the lexical meaning of the word “brother” and does not need to be expressed by a judgment).

For taking into account inversion and / or indicating the estimated value of the predicate when highlighting grammatical basis4 points.

For highlighting the whole phrase as a nominal part of the predicate and the correct explanation of the reason for syntactic inarticulateness - 2 points.

Only 6 points.

Task 7

(5 points) Read an excerpt from school essay.

The choice haunts us throughout life, and in order to make it, we need to overcome many temptations and obstacles that await us on the path of life.

Indicate in the text all grammatical and speech errors and shortcomings.

Explain what these errors are. Rewrite the passage of the essay without errors and shortcomings, retaining its overall meaning.

Criteria and answers

A. "choice haunts us"- speech error. Such erased personifications are realized in speech when the role of the subject is occupied by a noun with the meaning of thought, feeling, sensation (pursuing a thought, feeling, necessity, desire). “Choice” is an act, an action.

Probably, the text was supposed to combine " the need to choose».

B. "many temptations and obstacles waiting"grammar mistake. Incorrect agreement of defined nouns and participles.

AT. " life path life"- speech error. An unjustified tautology. It arose, perhaps, as a result of the imposition of two paraphrases: “life path” and “life path”.

The need to make the right choice haunts us throughout our lives (in different situations), and in order to make it, we need to overcome many temptations and obstacles that await us on the path of life.

For each error found and satisfactorily explained, 1 point.

For the rewritten passage, in which the observed errors are corrected and no new errors are made - 2 points.

No more than 5 points in total.

Task 8

(6 points) Explain why windy spelled with one letter H, and windless and weathered- with two letters N.

Criteria and answers

The adjective "windy" could historically go back both to the noun "wind" and to the obsolete verb "wind" (noted, in particular, by Sreznevsky). At the same time, the verbal form was probably fixed in the language. According to the rule for writing suffixes of verbal adjectives, there should be one letter H here. “Weathered” is formed from the verb “weather”, and the spelling of the suffix here is subject to the spelling rule H and HH in participles and verbal prefix adjectives.

The adjective "windless" is formed from the prepositional case combination "without wind". The very nature of the prefix does not allow us to see a verb as a generating word (as happened with the word “windy”), so we form this word according to the traditional model of denominative adjectives - using the suffix -ENN.

For the correct explanation of the spelling of each word - 2 points.

Only 6 points.

Task 9

(1 point) In a combination of words (including “quasi-words”), by rearranging letters in places (anagramming), it is encrypted linguistic term.

Example : Ethiopian Yaro(orthoepy).

Guess the linguistic term encrypted in the anagram: about sableBinet.

Criteria and answers

Isolation.

Only 1 point.

Task 10

(6 points) Read the passages of text and identify lexical meaning underlined words. (The text does not need to be translated.)

  1. The trumpets are blowing in Serpukhov, glory is ringing throughout all the Russian lands, it is wonderful to stand at the great Don, the khorigovi berchati are plowing, the calantyrs are glowing. Khorugovs are plowing like a living.
  2. Bloody shells come out of the clouds, and blue lightning plows out of them.

Criteria and answers

  1. plow- plow: flutter in the air ( 3 points).
  2. pashut- plow - plow (plow): blaze, sparkle ( 3 points).

Only 6 points.

The maximum score for all completed tasks is 45.

6. (8 points) Syntactic formulas (structural diagrams) are a way of designating different types of a simple sentence in syntactic science. In block diagrams, capital letters of the Latin alphabet denote abbreviated Latin names of different parts of speech. Numerical indices for letters are case numbers for names and grammatical person forms for verbs. There are a number of symbols that have their own meaning in the syntactic formula. Sentences like "The house is high", "The girl is beautiful" can, in principle, be indicated by the scheme N1-Adj1, and scheme N1 - Adj1 short f.

Sentences like “You are angry today”, “The blizzard on the street is strong” can, in principle, be indicated by the scheme N1-Adj1, and scheme N1 - Adj1 full.f. Nevertheless, syntaxists are in no hurry to abandon the indication of the full or short form of the adjective in the position of the predicate. In the list below, indicate those sentences that it is permissible to describe more than general scheme N1 - Adj1, and those sentences whose scheme should indicate the full / short form of the adjective. Explain what might be causing the need for such an indication.

The girl is pretty.

The morning is fresh.

SCHOOL STAGE. 4TH GRADE

Read the text and do tasks 1-10.

(1) City of Uglich in the southwest Yaroslavl region stands on steep bank Volga. (2) Here the river makes a sharp turn and an acute angle is obtained, hence the name of the city. (3) Uglich is one of the most ancient cities in Russia. (4) It was founded in 937. (5) In the 14th century, a wooden Kremlin was built here. It was a frontier fortified city of the Moscow Principality. (6) One of the versions of the tragic death of the heir to the Russian throne, Tsarevich Dmitry, the youngest son of Ivan the Terrible, is connected with Uglich. On May 15, 1591, the alarm bell of Uglich rang alarmingly. The people came running from all sides, thinking it was a fire. But, having learned about the death of the eight-year-old prince, the inhabitants of the city brutally dealt with the murderers. Boris Godunov ordered that all participants in this lynching be punished, even the bell that announced the death of the prince. According to the custom of that time, the convicts were branded. They removed the bell, cut off his ear, on which he hung, and punished his tongue and publicly in the square with twelve lashes. Then they were sent into exile along with the Englishmen. For a whole year, under the escort of guards, the condemned alarm bell was dragged to the Siberian city of Tobolsk. In 1677, during a strong Tobolsk fire, the Glich bell melted. A few years later, in memory of the exiled bell in Tobolsk, a new one was cast, similar to the old one. Over time, the murder of the prince became a proven fact and the people of Uglich petitioned the emperor for the return of the undeservedly punished bell to the city. But only at the end of the 19th century its copy was returned to Uglich. Now the bell hangs in the historical museum of the Uglich Kremlin. The entire territory of the Kremlin is a unique architectural monument. The wooden walls have not been preserved, but the stone buildings amaze with their antiquity. The chambers of the appanage princes were built of red brick in the 15th century. This is where the little Tsarevich Dmitry lived. A church was erected on the site of his death, which still stands today. In the main temple of Uglich, the Transfiguration Cathedral, there is a wooden carved iconostasis with icons of the 15th-16th centuries. The city has preserved three old functioning monasteries, numerous churches, and eleven museums. The whole city is a monument of the history and culture of Russia, one of the most ancient and interesting old Russian cities of the Golden Ring.

Give examples of words (at least two) in which -ich stands out in modern Russian with the meaning of belonging to a genus or locality. One of these words is in sentence number 6.

3. (5 points) In the "Etymological Dictionary" by M. Fasmer, one of the words is said: "Praslav. *süde” is formed from pronouns. "sь" (see this), how where from *küde from asks. pronoun kto". All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in the Russian language 2016–2017 G.

school stage. Grade 9 6. (6 points) Highlight the grammatical basis in the last sentence of the fragment.

Skalozub In the thirteenth year, my brother and I distinguished ourselves In the thirtieth jaeger, and after in the forty-fifth.

Famusov Yes, happiness, who has such a son!

Does he have, it seems, an order in his buttonhole?

Puffer

For the third of August; we sat down in a trench:

He was given with a bow, around my neck.

FAMUSOV A kind person, and to look - so grip.

A wonderful man is your cousin.

Explain why you singled out the grammatical basis in this way, and not otherwise.

Criteria and answers A wonderful person is your cousin!

For taking into account inversion and / or indicating the estimated value of the predicate when highlighting the grammatical basis - 4 points.

For highlighting the whole phrase as a nominal part of the predicate and the correct explanation of the reason for syntactic inarticulateness - 2 points.

Only 6 points.

All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in the Russian language 2016–2017 G.

school stage. Grade 9 Indicate in the text all grammatical and speech errors and shortcomings.

Explain what these errors are. Rewrite the passage of the essay without errors and shortcomings, retaining its overall meaning.

Criteria and answers

1. A. “choice haunts us” is a speech error. Such erased personifications are realized in speech when the role of the subject is occupied by a noun with the meaning of thought, feeling, sensation (pursuing a thought, feeling, necessity, desire). “Choice” is an act, an action.

Probably, the text was supposed to combine "the need for choice."

B. "many temptations and obstacles waiting" is a grammatical error. Incorrect agreement of defined nouns and participles.

B. "life path of life" - a speech error. An unjustified tautology.

It arose, perhaps, as a result of the imposition of two paraphrases: “life path” and “life path”.

2. The need to make the right choice haunts us throughout our lives (in different situations), and in order to make it, we need to overcome many temptations and obstacles that await us on the path of life.

For each error found and satisfactorily explained, 1 point.

For a rewritten passage in which the observed errors are corrected and no new errors are made, - 2 points.

No more than 5 points in total.

8. (6 points) Explain why windy is written with one letter H, and windless and weathered - with two letters H.

Criteria and answers.
